We are looking for a skilled SDR to join our SaaS inside sales team who is ready to dive in and learn the market and our products to solve real needs with solutions help clients stay in compliance and add value, time and savings for our end users. This role will move into a Sales Account Executive role within 6 to 9 months with training.

Highly distributed with its workforce in and out of the office in multiple locations
Companies looking to save time and money through better time and attendance policies
Role Description:

This role reports to the Vice President of Sales.

Opportunity:

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a high-energy individual who will contact and qualify marketing-generated leads into opportunities that can range from fast transaction same day closes to more complex sales and prospective customers. This is not a closer role. The SDR’s main objective will be to uncover why the prospect responded to digital media, i.e. form filled, web-chatted or called in or responded to email campaigns, what problem they’re trying to solve, the impact not having a solution causes, who in the organization is involved in finding a solution, discussing what a possible solution would look like, timing and risk to the organization. These opportunities will be set up for appointments to speak to a Sales Executive (SE) or immediately passed to an SE who will take ownership and conduct Discovery and a product demonstration based on the qualified needs detailed by the inside SDR. Outbound calling on campaigns, lead follow-up will be required. The SDR will be expected to manage and perform, “6x6x6” lead follow-up model; respond to all leads within Six minutes of receiving a lead, follow up Six more times over Six days consecutively.

The SDR will be compensated on the leads converted to opportunities. Opportunities are defined by setting a firm, calendared time for both the prospect and the SE to perform Discovery/Product Demo.

What you'll accomplish in the first 6 months:

Qualify marketing leads and set up sales calls for Sales Executives
Serve as the initial point of contact with targeted companies
Identify and properly qualify business opportunities and qualified leads
Present an overview of our business solution to potential customers
Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
Extensive follow-up and contacting - Make 100+ calls a day

Desired Skills and Experience:

1-3 years’ experience as a business development rep in technology or selling complex products or services
Desire to eventually be a Sales Executive (we only promote from within for this role)
Strong consultative or process background and ability to lead people in discussions to uncover needs and prioritize requirements
Commanding knowledge of value-based and solutions selling
Experience managing a high-volume sales pipeline through Salesforce.com
Experience commanding demonstrations using GoToMeeting.
Self-starter with a solid work ethic
Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
Strong verbal communications, written and presentation skills
BS/BA or equivalent preferred, but not required
